Using ScreenMaker with a FlexPendant

Hello,

I am working with an IRC5 and a FlexPendant. I would like to integrate a custom screen to my FlexPendant, via ScreenMaker.

Do I need an option on my controller or FlexpEndant for this ? We already have a Premium license of RobotStudio.

    Hi Charles-David,

    Yes, you will need to add the option FlexPendant Interface [617-1] to the robot in order to deploy user developed screens to the FlexPendant.

    Hi Aaron, thanks for your feedback.

    I am now trying to trigger a System Input via ScreenMaker, I am doing my tests with the Start action. 

    Is there a built-in way to call these actions? Currently, I use a Digital Output in Cross Connection with a Digital Input and this way I can pulse my action. I don't have a robot on hand to test, only RobotStudio

    Is this feasible on a physical robot, if not are there other solutions?

    Yes, cross-connecting the I/O is a legitimate method in both the VC(virtual controller) and RC(real controller)
