Hope you are doing well. 

There are few standard steps you can follow. 

1. You should take a backup of your robot programs at regular interval of time. 

2. When the robot is in motion , check every cables , motors noise , fasteners , harness . All should be in good and acceptable condition. 

3. Through inspect the brake operation. Due to repetitive use of emergency stop button effectiveness can be weakened.

4. Look for any oil spillage , abnormal noise , vibration.

5. Use recommended grease at joints and wherever it is necessary. 

6. Check electrical components i.e. cables , fans , plcs , power supply boards , safety switches etc. 

7. Through check teach pendent  , Inspect each and every button are working in good condition. 

8. Keep neat and clean the electrical compartment. Use blower to clean the dust in fans and at areas which are prone to dusting. 

9. Check batteries and RAM , Change if not working on good state. 

10. Check Balancer and apply grease. 

11. Run robot in neat and clean environment as mentioned in the robot documentation. 

12. Replace bat. in robot arm and controller when required.

Glad to tell you that I am able to answer you with never known details. Here is the way to go step wise for preventive maintenance of Industrial Robots. I am going to explain you with specific periods to have a check and balance on your robots.

Daily Checks:

1. Cleaning all sensors within robot cell. 
2. Cleaning optics within robot cell.
3. Checking visual damage for components.
4. Regular greasing of mechanical components.
5. Checking for leakage.

Monthly Checks:

1. Checking the ventilation of controller of robots such as fans and air flow ducts etc.
2. Checking the mechanical units along with all cables such as tears and cuts, pinch points, severe kinks, insulation etc.
3. Tightening external mounting bolts.
4. Cleaning up debris and chips from mechanical units.
5. Thoroughly checking all connecting cables of robots such as Vision cables, EE cables, and T.P cables etc.

Yearly Checks:

1. Checking the grease balance kit if installed.
2. Replacement of battery kit in the mechanical unit. If batteries not expired, making maintenance checks.
3. Applying Grease on each axis and component of the robot. Apply the grease recommended by the manufacturer only.
4. Replacement of cables of mechanical units.
5. Replacement of batteries in the CPU of robot..
