Answered Accessing iPendant through IP

Hi everyone,

I am trying to connect my iPendant through IP address it is not connecting instead some window is popping up showing ERROR TPIF 140. I don't know what is wrong here i want to access my iPendant? Any suggestions?

    Hi Bailey,

    Here's an explanation of situation you are facing:

    1. TPIF-140 Connection limit has exceeded
    2. Cause, An attempt to log into the teach pendant menu system from an external web browser has failed because the connection limit has been reached
    3. Remedy: The system variable $UI_CONFIG.$NUM_CONNECT controls the number of external connections allowed.
    4. The maximum number of connections is five INCLUDING the teach pendant.
    5. Reconnect the external connections in your system so that no more than five exist.
