Answered Freezing up of RJ3 TP when push control stop---need help

Hey all. 
I have a problem. Whenever I am having any fault, i open up the safety gates which is breaking the circuit. I am getting alarm for control stop i.e. SRVO-199, but it happens sometimes that TP start freezing up. After that when I reboot it and alarm get cleared. The circuit is then running through various relays but I am not able to pinpoint it that why such alarm is appearing. I also replaced the TP and even circuit board but the problem continues.

Suggest whether I may look for changing CPU or what could be ultimate solution?

    Dear Frankie,

    I will suggest you checking the circuit connections of safety equipment. For example if the safety circuit is failing to perform then it would go ON and OFF. Therefore, I am suggesting you to replace the safety board where all of the safety equipment is located. I will also suggest you to check the wiring connections. I think may be any of these may be broken and you would not know it. Anything may be short or even fuses might be blown...

    Thank you for your response mr. Ishaq.

    I have changed the board on the back door of the robot and then also replaced the fuses over the robot in the same circuitry having problem of freezing. Basically I am having 2 robots with same problem and the resultant circuits are from 2 panels. Each of the panels is having 3 LANS and 4 contractors each and also having 3 squared D relax in each panel. Here, i am not much sure of the circuitry causing the freezing but I am just having a guesses. I have also changed the LANS and contractors but the problem is persisting blowing my head.

    Hi, I wanted to add up that recently it has started to happen that whenever it crashes, such as it has something for stopping the signal, I then went down the robot and gave it a reboot from its CPU and then made a shot in dark. I then opened up its cabinet of parity CPU1 indicators and checked it all, which I found working normal. I am just trying my luck. This morning I have also changed its ELAN safety circuitry once again and found that it was just fine. I through it may give you any idea and you may help me in this regard.

    Hi again,

    I have resolved this problem. Actually I did by pulling out the CPU boards and then cleaned it up and then put it back. 

    However, I have few other questions in my mind now that why I cannot use any other card for backing up the program of larger size? Why are larger sized cards not working? I am using 5.10P version and is there any possibility updating the controller of my program because current version is not allowing me for any backup except image files.

    Dear Frankie, I am glad that your problem is resolved.

    Normally it happens that the architecture of the robot's is behind the architecture of computer. Therefore, grounded on the statement it can be said that 8MB of memory was too large for the robots for almost a decade ago but now it should work fine with it.
