Hi Chang,

Let me give you a humble advise to search this forum and it has abundant information related to your question. Further, search for the posts related to LS instead of TP and you will be able to find the relevant info.

Now I would guide you as per my knowledge.

For obtaining the LS you are required to use the COPY but not the BACKUP. There are online applications for converting the TP to LS and it depends on the version of the software and model of the robot to work efficiently.

Moreover, you may be needing to get PCMCIA card and card holder to COPY the programs from the controller and transfer it to your computer. Then you can edit it with any editor an print it

As you suggested, I have keenly looked in to it and searched of the ways, copying through TP, however I am curious about knowing that how am i going to have a physical hooking of something to the control panel of robot  for saving it to the PCMCIA.

I am having a dell system having connectors and i am trying to hook it through laptop to the control panel with the cord supplied to me?

Is it correct or something is needed to be changed?

All you need is one of the USB card readers from where you may read data on the TP but you have to be very careful with selection of devices. Do as mentioned below.

1. Select MD as a device before copying data.

2. Select the copy option.

3. Select MC

4. Now execute

However, you have to be very sure about saving data from MD to that of MC and it is clearly mentioned on screen as well.

I am succeeded finally. I have found the PCMCIA card which I have been looking for and it had .exe extension for running it to get files for transferring the files from the TP to the folder on my laptop.
