Jogging at VFINE

Hey All , 

I am trying perform drilling and tapping on vast metal with VFINE mode. But I noticed that , If the Jog speed is 1% and for continuous jogging only pressing of soft button is enough while for VFINE mode , it is required to pressing and releasing of soft button. So Is it possible for VFINE jog mode to act like normal jog mode with single press of soft-key ?

    There are three types of mode in speed.  

     

    CNT - Continuous Mode 

     

     

    FINE - Fine Mode 

     

     

     

    VFINE - Very Fine Mode 

     

     

    So When continuous mode is opted you can press SHIFT + JOG for continuous moving of robot but FINE and VERY FINE modes are basically used for touch up the points very precisely. For that purpose it is always required to Jog and check , Jog and Check. So they are incremental movements. 

    You can refer fanuc documentation for drilling and tapping purpose. You can refer following website for recommended feeds and speeds required for drilling and tapping. Acc. you can make your program. Here Fine and VFine mode will be helpful for touch up the HOLE position.
