I have questions about Mig welding nozzle cleaning schedule. I want to optimize more the cleaning for less replacement of nozzle and good welding. My questions are ,
1> What should be the cleaning frequency for nozzle ?
2> How much length of wire should be cut before next cycle ?
3> What should be the distance for anti-spatter spray ?

1> The frequency of reaming operation depends on your production cycle and operation. Reaming too frequently will waste your production time similarly if reaming operation is infrequently will build up heavy spatter and it will be too much difficult to remove it. As it totally depends on the duty cycle. General duty cycle of MIG welding machine is 60%. Many welders do it on 30-40% duty cycle. If you go for more than 60% then your torch will get heat up and breaking down it over the time.To determine the best reaming frequency, observe the operation and make the appropriate adjustments.
2> It should be long enough when it is cut , The wire stays straight. 8-10mm is good.
3> Nozzle should be not too much far. As spray will be wasted. It should be close enough that chemical spreads over equally.
