Hi everyone,
Have you ever had seen oil leaking from an axis on a CRX10?
The robot was working great before it got stored in a crate for a while, new factory layout.
This week I opened the crate and when I took the robot I saw some oil dripping around the J5 axis.
Do I have a leak? Is the robot supposed to have grease in it?

Hi,
This is something kind a normal if the robot as been stored for a while.
When the robot doesn't move, the oil in the grease tend to split out of the grease. The Seals and O-rings are made to keep the grease inside the gearboxes but not to hold oil.
Just wipe the oil and continue your normal process, but if it's cause by a collision be sure to check if their is no crack in the casting or else.
No need to change the grease or do any maintenance about this leak.
