Starting a Robot by an output button.

Hello, i need help for setting up correctly the startup of the I-10 Fanuc robot by an output signal, which is already connected to the console. 

It´s supposed to be working but it doesn´t.

Is there a procedure i can use to make sure i´m setting it up correctly.

    Hi Alejandro,

    What we usually do is map the UI signal to a flag and control this flag in a background logic with conditions according to your I-10 logic.
    To MAP the UI signals on flags, go in MENU - I/O - UOP
     
    Then PRESS F3 for IN/OUT to be in the UI page and then press F2 for CONFIG
    For the Range 4 to 6, enter Rack 34, slot 1 for the Flags and START at the place you want it to be linked in the flags. Here we start at 1022.
    After that, you will have to cycle power the robot.
    The result will be that the Flags located from 1022 to 1024 will be directly linked to Stop, Reset and Start:
    To make sur that the robot will be operated by the UI signals, you need to go in MENU - NEXT - SYSTEM - Config and put Enable UI signals at TRUE:
     
    You will have to do an other cycle power of the robot at this point.
