Dear team. I need to config Robot and PLC. How to Configure Robot(Fanuc) DI DO to PLC(Omron)

    What communication protocol are you using and where are you plugged in the robot?

    1.Ethernet communication
    2.Slot 1 ethernet port in robot

    Hi,

     

    Do you want the robot to be the master or the slave? If you want it to be the master, you will need to have the EDS file of your PLC.

    1. Go to MENU - SETUP - Host Comm

     

    2. Press DETAIL on TCP/IP

    3. Enter the desired address for your robot at Port # 1 IP addr and Cycle Power the robot

    4. Press MENU - I/O - EtherNet/IP

    5. In slot 1, change the Description for PLC Omron and the Type for SCN and pressF4 for Config

    6. Put the IP address of your PLC and all the information of your EDS file in this window

    7. Return to the I/O EtherNet/IP List (Rack 89) page and place the connection at TRUE

    8. Go to MENU - I/O - Digital - F2 for CONFIG

    9. Enter the number of bits you want to send in the RANGE and put 89 in the Rack, 1 in the Slot and at what bit number in your communication the data start in the START column (sometimes there's 16 bits of status so you need to start at 17)

    10. Do the same for the DI and Cycle Power the robot.
