I am currently working with RobotStudio for my simulations. I would like to know if it is possible to modify an existing mechanism to add a part in a link? We had a revision of our EOAT and I would like not to start my mechanism again for the addition of a simple part
My tool is in the library and I would like to add my part to the L1 link

Hello Eduard, right click on the mechanism, select modify mechanism, right click on the link you would like to change and select edit link. Then you can add the part to that link, compile mechanism. you will loose positions and transition times so you will have to re-do that.

I don't have the option to edit the link, my screen looks like this after clicking Modify Mechanism. Is this related to the fact that my mechanism is saved in a library and used in another project?

If you right-click on the mechanism in the layout tab you can select, "disconnect from Library" then you should be able to edit it and save as a new library or overwrite the original library file.
You can add the mechanism back to library after you have completed the changes.
