How do I increase the number of payloads?

Hello again robot enthusiasts,

I need some help increasing the amount of payloads on my CRX-10iA robot. I came across a post on Robot-Forum and some people were saying that it was not possible. However, I find it unlikely that Fanuc doesn't include this option in their robots.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Serge,

     

    Increasing the number of payloads is absolutely possible and quite easy to do.

     

    First, you'll want to press on FCTN, 0 - NEXT, 8 - START MODE and select CTRL.

     

    You will now have to power OFF and ON the robot controller. Once you are in CTRL START mode, press on Menu, 0 - NEXT, 1 - Program Setup and you will be able to change Number of Payloads there.

    Once that's done, press on FCTN, COLD START.

     

    You will have to apply DCS parameters after entering your payload values and you should be all set.
