Answered ARC Mate 100i Problem?

Hey all!

Can anyone let me know about this problem? I am having an ARC MATE 100i which I swapped with other 100i. The one that I have put in is not having any brakes on it axis 5 and 6 and but the old one did. I wan to ask if there is any way for disabling the brakes on 5 and 6 so that I might be able to get rid of the pulse mismatch after tip change?

    Please try this code.

    $SCR_GRP[1].$BRK_NUMBER[4] = 0
    $SCR_GRP[1].$BRK_NUMBER[5] = 0
    $SCR_GRP[1].$BRK_NUMBER[6] = 0

    However, bear it in mind that you must be running the code at start of control and it will then work fine.

    I have a suggestion for you.

    In my opinion your work cell must be having a safety fence or even a light screen for connection with emergency contacts.

    Dear Frankie!
    For your information, I must say that according to FANUC at present stage, R30iB has no offer for a remote and local disconnection option for its Servo.

    In case where disconnection of servo is required, then this option is offered on the M-410iB/160R-30iA unit systems.  Hence, in case of such requirements , my solution today would be the Remote Servo Disconnect, P/N: R-30iA ME-R30iA-470. It comes with a 7, 14 or 21 meter cable selection allowing mounting of the Remote disconnect at the edge of the cell.
