My question to you is that my FANUC R20001a/165 robot is having some of its digital output always ON no matter what. I am not able to switch it OFF at any case. These digital outputs are on the DEVICENET card which is located in machines and there is no complementary with any of other outputs. There is no BG logic as well.
Can someone tell me from where the signal is initiated and how would i be able to turn it OFF.

Have you ever tried to check "CONFIG" over your digital output. Also have you checked "CONFIG" on the UOP. It is possible that these "DOs" are assigned to output of the system. Thanks
Hi howard, it may sometimes happen because of having an interconnection with that "DO" and by the time when you are trying to turn it OFF it always stays ON no matter what. Similarly, if the digital output is sometimes OFF then it remains OFF even if you try to make it ON. Therefore, I would suggest to verify all of the interconnections and if you are not requiring them then erase the interconnections.
A few times the interconnection is also enabling the output and hence it is very necessary to send it to PLC and in the case it is controlled by other device and it really doesn't matter if the DEVICENET, or PROFINET, or WORKBUS etc.
