Answered Fanuc R-30iA changing wait time

Hi everyone!

I know it's very dumb but  I need to change the WAIT TIME from 0.5 to 0.3. I am trying to change it with the TP, but it is not saving the new time setting instead it is using the previous settings which is 0.5. Do I need to ABORT ALL before I can make any changes?

What is the function of the edit option under F3 in teach box?

    Dear Ernesto,

    If the value is not referenced but hard codded, you will need to put the controller in teach mode turn the teach pendant on, and then you can make an edit that will last. This is considered a program edit. If you need this infrequently you should put the value in a register and reference it instead of hard coding the value.
