Answered Robot's Irregular Vibrations while Jogging

Hi fellas!

We are working on a LRMate 200 iD/7L ad theres a problem with our robot while its moving. Issue occurs while jogging slowly the robot in Y direction, as it gets away the more TCP gets irregular vibrations but coming backwards in opposite direction gets smooth going.. Anybody encounter same issue before? Ideas will be appreciated.

    Dear Iqra, your problem seems like mechanical in nature and it is sounding like your Gearbox reducer is not okay. I had a similar issue with one of our robots. Try some grease if it has any grease inlet points?

    Hello Iqra , 

    You should try the periodic maintenance and preventive maintenance mentioned in this post. I believe it will sort out your problem.

    Thanks, good to know you have encountered a similar issue, I think you are right the reducer is gone bad. its been a while that we did its maintenance.

    Reducer may suffer from a design error when its only one grease point which is inlet point. In such situations you can in/flush grease in the same hole. A couple ml of 4B-No.2 Grease would do the job.
