We have a FANUC R200iC robot cell in product development (production test run area) after the successful test run we have to shift it to the operations shop floor. We have teach the robot at development stage now we have to reteach all the positions at the shop floor, I am looking for an efficient way to reteach the robot by making the simple touch ups, when robot is displaced from its previous teach position.? Please suggest me an efficient and easy way to do it?

Hi pal!
Well You should have well-taught user and tool frames, and you would teach those first, but you should be able to touch up the points in the newly taught frames.
After installing at new location touchups are required.

So I should define the TCP first then I need to define user frames and then create prog within that frame and then again define uframes when the robot is shifted to another location?
Am i missing something? also i need to know how to create Origin?
Your are understanding it right. and for the defining origin You should attach a marker into the tool and teach a tool frame for it, then use it to teach the user frame. You would punch 3 markers on the fixture table for origin, X & Y. and you should have both the taught tool and user frames active before teaching points.
