Fanuc Motor replacement

Hi guys!

Just came here to ask you guys that after changing fanuc robot motor (servo motor) and Robot is remastered, do i need to do a update the DCS signature also? Or I am good with out re-setting the DCS?

    Dear Bailey,

    Changing a servo should not affect your DCS but you have to have a complete backup of the robot, So you can calibrate or modify your DCS if required.

    Dear Bailey,

    While replacing motor you will have to do remastering. If a robot has DCS you will have apply the re mastercount to the DCS. So are going to need the DCS code (standard 1111).
