New postHey Frankie,
I was having same error few months ago. The RJ were having notorious bugs which were scrambling the brain of my FANUC.
I believe you are having the data backed up for the positional and application purposes because you would need it in case of reloading the operating system of the controller. After that you have to reload the entire data of positional and application stuff and then reload the controller to get it fixed for the issue.
Goodluck
Dear Muhammad, Thank you so much for your response.
I would elaborate the problem as that there is an LED fault on its main board of CPU and LEDs are activated over the axis of control board. However, i think that the normal axis of the LED fault is ON in case if the CPU board is having a defect. Can you please guide whether this is the way or something else is going wrong?
I have been looking at :
I have been trying hard testing the CMOS but my test seemed to have stopped or frozen during my 6th tests. I let it remain there for half an hour but it was still there at test 6. I am having another CPU board over which i don't have any surety of it to be working but i pulled it off from another robot which was working fine and tried to have a cure for the defective control axis board.
Dear Muhammad, can you please tell me what you changed? The main board of CPU or its memory board or just rebooting or reload the software solved the issue?
Yes, I am having the backups of the system files and TP programs.
The system files are having SYSMACRO.SV, SYSMAST.SV, SYSSERVO.SV, SYSVAR.SV
I am having a guess that soon the robot will be required for production.
First thing is that when i am loading software over controller, is there anything that i may consider before proceeding? Is there any specific method for reloading the software.
Thank you
Hi,
For the RJ system do following.
Open up the menu for I/O and then press function and save. The I/O data will be backed up.
Similarly, for the menu, setup, frames, user-frames, and tools, function, data you have to save the num reg and pos reg.
The RJ does not backup those things if you go to menu file backup.
best of luck
Hi, I was not aware of this and as I have done the memory test, then I guess that I have lost all of backup. I think, I am going to do abundant work today. Do you know of any way to backup them from controlled start even if i did a CMOS test?
Hi Frankie,
No, i do not have any idea and never did this before.
If you are able to make a backup then do it asap.
Oh my God, Thank you so much!
Yeah finally software installation went fine and I am so glad to acknowledge that the issue is now resolved.
The frames have been saved in the backup files of the system. However, the only thing that was not saved was the I/O descriptions and programs. Like i was so lucky that i had written most of the programs in my notebook, so I am not worried about it.
Thank you guys for your responses and help.
