Hey all, I am interested in using the PPABN logic i.e. Pneumatic Pressure Abnormal deprived of running cable from the robot base which is pressure sensor to that of the input of the end effector.
At the moment I am having the entire apparatus in wired mode through a digitized input having a user alarm however i am interested to monitor it without giving it statement of DI(108)=ON.
However, I know that BG Logic is not able to call user alarm.

Hi Chang,I think that if there is chance of the pressure measurement on the base of the robot input then I think you must relocate the sensor to airline output of the robot and then connect it across the dedicated pin of the EE connector. This is how your problem is going to be resolved on permanent basis and will not happen ever again.
Dear chang, for your information i am having a robot having no EE connector and i am used to monitor pressure for which i am putting the pressure switch in that of the emergency circuit.
Hey Chang, the background logic cannot be used for setting user alarms but you can use it for setting up an output which is based on certain input. You can even use the conditional handler which is setting the alarm based on the input or even any macro can perform this function. Many ways are there apart from mentioned one, Goodluck
