Answered FANUC Wheel actuator

Dear All, I am in search of a solution for my FANUC AMFW500 wheel positioner.  The air actuator for its shot pin is not working. Luck is that its solenoid is in tact. Please someone give me an advise about how can i fix this brand and Spec of the Pneaumatic cylinder. Thank you

    Hello Juan, 

    Is it Fanuc Arc Mate Ferris wheel dual head / triple axis system from lincoln ? If it is then ,there will a complete system kit in which there will be operator’s manuals, maintenance guides, spare parts lists, calibration numbers and serial numbers, prints, supplier references and specifications, and electronic manuals and tools.

    You will get the information from the documentations only or you can contact lincoln , they will help you to find out the part number.

    Hello jaun,

    Air actuator problem may actually be a valve problem. Some common valve issues that can cause actuator problems:

    • A worn out valve stem
    • Seized up packing
    • An obstruction
    • Too much torque
