Hi Everyone!

I am struggling with an error on my robot. It reads CMAL ALARM SRVO-073, On reset of pulse encoder alarm resets but I am repeatedly getting this alarm when i try to move robot's axis 4. Please Help!

    Ernesto Perito - I have seen many post on other forum. All of them generally facing the same issue , Check the ground cable properly. If it is damaged , change the cable. 

     

    There can be bad power issue. Check input power to the controller. If power is not sufficient  , Use transformer

    Hi Ernesto,

    Try to probe the fault by checking ground cable of the controller. Confirm that the ground connection of the robot and controller are okay. If it is okay then you would have to change the pulsecoder. After replacing pulsecoder you should remaster the robot.

    This is what manual says:

    Cause:  The Pulsecoder may be faulty, or noise may be causing the Pulsecoder to malfunction.

    Remedy:

    1. Improve the shielding.
    2. Do PULSE RESET Operation.
    3. Replace the Pulsecoder, then perform mastering.
