Answered Multiple Robot Connection

Hello , 

Is it anyway i can connect multiple fanuc robot with single PLC and PLC to be connected to computer  OR Direct connection to the computer.

So i can manage all robot seating at one place. Not going all around the workshop.

    You can connect directly with computer. 

    Use Router Hub / Switch. 

    Connect all robot with HUB / Switch . 

    Set up IP configuration in both robot and computer.  

    Robot Name: Robot 1
    Port 1

    IP ADDRESS                 : 192.168.250.YYY
    SUBNET MASK              : 255.255.255.0
    BOARD ADDRESS        :  ****
    ROUTER IP ADDRESS  : ***.***.***.***
    (no Host Names)

    Yup , 

    I asked to our IT department. They called some IBM guy . He had experience with connection of robots. He also suggested that Router can be the option.
