Answered New program not running

Hi Guys,

I have a problem with my M-16iA with R-J3iB Controller. We are trying to update the program, a bit changed one as per operations requirement. But the robot is not running on the new selected program instead it keep on going with the last program instead of selecting the new program. I have also disabled the option of "restore selected program".

How to make this new program run in to my robot? Please Help!

    Hi Ernesto Perito 

    Let me tell you few points that you should check:

    • Make sure to close if anything is open in the background edit.
    • You should try abort all. Keep in mind that never try to open a program in the currently active call stack. Because it will auto select into the current program.
    • The program you are trying to run put a break point (wait/pause). 
    • Put a break point also in the program it is restoring.

    Dear Ernesto,

    Can you tell me your start type? PNS, RSR, or any other? May be your PLC is trying to start some specific program, which is different than the one you wanted?

    Take all of above back up and open it in roboguide software. See if the file is changed or not. If not changed , Change the file and save it and restore the back up.

    It will sort out the issue.
