Waiting for startup

Hi Members,

I have Fanuc R30-iB Controller. When the system powered on and starts it has some abnormality like when I start the system the screen says waiting for startup. And it doesn't start. I have checked the cables and fuses. And tried with good pendant But the issue is there..

Can anyone guide me?

    Dear iqra,

    I can guide for few things. You should check the software if it is loaded properly. Also you should press F1 and F5 while starting to start in boot monitor then select INIT Start to verify.

    Dear Iqra,

    Most probably the software is not loaded. Try starting Boot Monitoring through pressing F1 and F5 while starting and after that you have to select the INIT Start for checking.

    Can you please tell me whether or not you have the core software on pan drive?

    Make sure you take backup before INIT start . After INIT start you will lose factory mastering . Check this thread how to perform INIT start .
