Hello guys,
I am having a trouble with my FANUC's control board of teach pendent. I have already replaced the control board of the teach pendent to verify the problem. When robot is connected to the teach pendent then the process of loading is halted giving a checksum error "1AFB1E6F".
Please suggest what should be done to recover from this error.

Hello Friend,
Checksum errors are associated to battery and memory. If you receive this error first thing you need to check the battery which is small in size on the main board of the controller cabinet. If it is good in condition and connected properly. Then there is a chance that damage has be done to the memory card .
CPU/DRAM , SRAM AND FROM. Check all cards. First go with battery as it will required to spare small amount compared to memory cards. And at last you will need to replace the main board.

This is generally illustrating that the software is corrupted and you need to reinstall it.
Therefore, I would suggest to plug in the pendent to another robot and and rule it out.
