Mastering Data

I have query regarding the mastering. Just want to be on a safer side. Suppose if i have bzal alarm and i do not change the battery, Will i lose mastering ? Or exactly which battery will affect my mastering. As i will need to perform the mastering again.

    Hi Toby Cooke,

    After you are done with resetting your pulse coders, through command "RES_PCA", you have to turn the controller OFF and then make it ON again.

    Hereafter you are required to jog the robot on every axis for enabling the joint to establish pulse reference. After that you will be able to calibrate and master.

    Hello Tooby Cooke,

    As per the FANUC, you would be able to safely change the RAM Backup Battery.

    When you will run it for about 20 minutes, then turn the controller OFF, it is going to be alright.

    I have been doing this for the Powering ON.

    The backup of the encoder batteries are needed to be changed with the power ON else you will lose mastering.

    Hi Cooke,

    I think it is warning sign that if you will unplug the cable from the pulse coder the you will require more practice for mastering it.
