There are many factors that can give error  " INVALID SET OF INPUT POINTS " .  

Few things to keep in mind during touch up the points. 

- Three points definition is defined by diving the circle of 360 degree into 3 parts , So all three points with reference to center points must be apart from 120 degrees from each other. 

- Do lesser spins on axis no. 6 

- Make sure two points out of three are not in linear on a plane. They should be at least have an angular offset.
