We are running our robot since very long time and We had minor issues related to bad fuses and cables. Now During the maintenance is there any good way to check if breaks are performing well or they are worn and required to be replaced ?

Slipping axis brakes is a common issue. You can verify your robot brakes by jogging to robot to it extremities with allowable payload hanged at EOA. Apply the brakes by E-stop button. It will suddenly stop the movements of robots. The allowable distance is below 1 mm. If the movement is more than 1mm , You need to check your brakes or replace. Otherwise you may see SRVO-023 OR SRVO-024 Alarm in future.
Checking the functionality of brakes is part of preventive maintenance , Everyone would agree that preventative maintenance is the best formula for keeping your robot operational 24/7 and extend the life of your investment.
