I have installed brand new 2D fixed camera with the system. But when i turn on the system , It says camera is disconnected. !! Also showing CVIS-098 error. Any settings to be adjusted or the camera is just malfunctioning or anything else ? I am getting no clue here , What to do for troubleshooting ?

It can be many possibilities. I am listing down the points. Check all. I hope you will able to find out the root cause.
1. If you have connected the camera with power on , There are chances that it may blow the fuse on the main cpu board. So check the fuse.
2. Check your earthing cable. There are chances that it may leak the current and if not properly grounded , You may receive this error. I advise you to check all the cable connections.
3. Select the proper camera from the selection list and select proper .eds file for the communication setup.
4. At last check the connector pins and cable which connects the connect. It may be stretched out and soldering can be damaged .
