3D scanner with Fanuc Robot

Hey all , 

I am interested in start up business with 3D scanning service. I have done research on many conventional 3D scanner system which are available in market. Machine has rotating table and 3D scanning camera system. In this system parts needed to be placed at different angle or position , so and so. So i was thinking if i can make customized EOAT with which parts to be scanned can be attached and a stationary 3D scanner would do its job. You know , You would get it all the angles and orientations of parts. there will not be any chances that you would miss any portion. Does any one have that kind of feature installed or worked upon. Please let me know. I am really interested in developing such system.

    I totally understand , In this modern era quality inspection as important as the quality manufacturing. Inspection industry is widely established over the years. Since many companies are trying to improve their inspection machine with variety of methods. Fanuc is also been working collaboratively with the quality inspection companies and they both have worked and integratively designed a 3D scanner system. I believe , there are many improvements can be done on this machine as well. As there are lots of other techniques can be used to reduce the inspection time of the parts. Yet , Below is the link  , it is a really a great machine as you have mentioned in your query. You should check it out and can also make an improvement on this existing integrated solution.     I see , There are products available in market. Thank you for letting me know about this. However , I will still approach with the idea. Lets see hows it goes.
