Answered Battery Changing Procedure

Hi ,

During the BZ alarm , What is the correct procedure to replace the battery ?

    - Never turnoff power during replacing the battery. 

    - If you remove the encoder battery if there is no power , You will lose mastering. All encoder data will be lost. 

    - If you remove CPU lithium battery it will store controller memory upto 30 minutes as per FANUC manual. If this is stay too long you will lose all the robot programs ,system settings and software

    Thank you toby for letting me know. You know i was going to get change after powering the system off. That we usually do with the electrical equipment. This is something important thing that has to be make sure every-time. I will share this important information with my co-workers as well.
