Educative Cell V1.0 - Bill Of Materials (BOM) - Alternative Transistors

Can anyone recommend alternatives to the transistors in the BOM for the robotic arm DIY. TRANS NPN 40V 0.2A TO-92 (P/N 2N3904BU). They're out of stock from digi-key with no restock date (the great 2020/2021 silicon scandal).

    Hi Anthony,

    You need a NPN bipolar transistor with TO-92-3 package.
    This one would fit just fine:
    Digi-Key Part Number LP395Z/LFT1

    Also, note that there is an error in the BOM for R1, R2, R3 resistor value.
    The adequate resistor is 270ohm, but the BOM links to a 270 k ohm resistor.

    I suggest the following component:

    Digi-Key Part Number

    RC14JB270R-ND
