Yes you can! Fanuc sells a plug that you can apply inside of the controller to jumper out the pendant. This allows the Estop circuit to remain ok. and you can use robot without Teach pendant.

Fanuc has variety of option to run your robot without connecting the teach pendant. First option is a disconnect plug , that can be used at the front panel door. Second option is jumper plug , Which is used on internal connection of a teach pendant. 

Additionally , One teach pendant can be used on multiple robot. That will save the over all cost with shared TP software. But before disconnecting the TP , Program should be in AUTO mode.  Pressing the E-stop button and connecting the dummy.

In case if you are having a robot having program tool with builtin arc or handling then you need to have guidance about UI or RSR/PNS.

This is actually utilization of digital IO or in other situations KCL commands.

Why don't you purchase a dummy plug from FANUC to do this.
