Answered Greasing Procedure

We have a periodic maintenance coming up next week. Can anyone here share , How to do a proper greasing ? Any video tutorial or any third party service can also help..!!

That will be a really great help. This is our first maintenance for greasing. We want to be sure that it is performed correctly and do not miss any parts. As it may void the warranty period.

    Dear Toby,

    I can tell you some points to grease your Robot:

    • For fanuc robot you can use Vigo Grease REO
    • Release the out plug and insert the in-Grease nipple (if not already available, most of them have), place robot in a comfortable position
    • Pump the grease and wait for the clean grease to come out from the nipple
    • Slowly insert the grease with a Grease Gun
    • Exercise the robot when you done Greasing, clear the extra grease coming out.
    • And you're good to go.
