I have a ARC-Mate 120i 224ish years old. My J5 has this error. No crashes that I'm aware of around the time this error starting showing. I can't clear it by the teach pendant. I have to cycle power at the controller. Probably need to call someone was just hoping that their might be something obvious to look at. cant see the motor or cable there are inside J3 Arm I believe. Any i can look at on the TP thight might tell me if someone changed variables? this fault when I move J5 both + and - roughly 25 degree from 0.

Hi Shane,
An OVC alarm occurs when the robot is cumulating some high electrical power in a specific amount of time. If there's nothing applying force on the robot and you get an OVC, maybe the problem is on the J5 gearbox. Have you changed the oil recently?

Thanks for the reply. A company does our annual PM so yes the grease was changed. Is the cover such that I could turn it and open the cover to look.
