Answered Robot's Excessive vibrations

There can be multiple causes for vibrations and abnormal sound. Check for below Causes and their remedies Respectively numbered.

Cause:

1. The robot is not firmly fastened to the base.
2. Excessive floor vibration (especially when installed above the first floor).
3. An incorrect servo adjustment.
4. A defective cable.
5. The robot is not grounded
6. A defective motor.
7. A defective reducer.
8. Incorrect time.

Remedy:

1. Retighten
2. Investigate the installation location and adjust the robot location if necessary.
3. Adjust the servo.
4. Replace the cable.
5. Connect to ground.
6. Replace the motor
7. Replace the reducer.
8. Revise the time

I believe you are performing the maintenance task on time. As well as check your reducer.

I want to add some causes here, vibrations could be a result of excessive play because of:

• loose screw or pin, tighten them.
• A defective reducer, replace the reducer.
• An incorrect gear backlash, adjust the gears
• Worn gears, replace the gears.
• Worn bearings, replace the bearings
• A cracked casting, replace cracked parts.
