Answered Roboguide to Plc

Hi , 

Is it possible to connect roboguide to PLC. I want to perform the simulation before connecting all things to the real robot ! So it will be a time consuming process. I can make all the connection and config everything on computer and later on just plug and play. 

If anyone know how to do this . Please share details .!!

    Hi

    Yes, there is a possibility to connect roboguide to PLC. I have tried connecting roboguide with PLC, on the same laptop, and also on different laptops(one with roboguide, one wuth simulator plc) over network, even controlling roboguide robot program from a hmi runtime. 

    i tried it on a siemens plc and logix5000 (steps are same for both). Use kepserverEx , its a free download for the first few days (for any first time installation systems). I figured it out by spending a little time, I can help with questions if you got any during interconnection. Download KepserverEx command a siemens plc throught a client. Try it with profibus connection it will work well.

    Thanks friend, I looked to the other sources as well. KEPSERVER EX software people are using for simulation.
